John Niehaus


John Niehaus is the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) Director of Program Development. He directs programs such as the Professional Development Program and Master CFI Accreditation. John is a 2009 graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Double Major in Aviation Flight Science and Aviation Administration He holds an ATP MEL/Commercial SEL, CL-65/LR-45 PIC Typed, CFI-CFII ASEL. John has conducted flight instruction in a multitude of aircraft, reaching 1,000 hours of dual instruction by the time he was 27 years old.


Today, along with his NAFI duties, he is a part 135 Captain flying LearJet 45 and 75 models for a local charter company in Grand Rapids, MI, and has 3,300 hours and counting.
