Chairman of the Board

Lauretta Webb

Lauretta has over 32 years of experience in GA marketing, communications, and PR. She began at AOPA, managing print production and later overseeing their insurance program. After 15 years at Avemco Insurance, where she became VP of Marketing, she directed communications at NAFI.

Public Relations Director

Gregory Feith

Greg Feith has served as the GAA's PR Director since 2021. Greg's name is likely familiar to many in the aviation community. His active participation as an accident investigator for the NTSB and his works on several international accidents has earned him notoriety.

Nominiations Adminstrator

Arlynn McMahon

Arlynn has served as the GAA's Nominations Administrator for many years and worked closely with our partners at the FAA to facilitate the annual awards. Arlynn has been part of the industry for more than 4 decades and holds a CFI, CFII, and MEI. She's an accomplished author and holds over 10,000 hours of instruction given in various aircraft.

AirVenture Liason

Mary Schu

Mary Schu serves as the GAA's AirVenture Liason. In her role with GAA, she has led, organized, and facilitated the awards ceremonies that take place each year at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Mary was the 2015 CFI of the Year.

Treasurer

Robert "Bob" Clark

Robert "Bob" Clark currently serves as GAA's Treasurer managing the not for profit's finances and ensuring GAA's overall financial health. Bob has been part of the aviation industry for many years and is an accomplished instructor holding various certifications from the FAA. Since 1986, Bob has accumulated over 10,000 hours of instruction time in aircraft for students in Southern California.

Secretary

Charath Ranganathan

Charath Ranganathan serves as the GAA's Secretary. Charath earned his Private Pilot certification in 2012 and has since earned his CFI. His passion for the aviation industry began after a simple discovery flight from the Van Nuys airport in 2011. Charath also holds the AGI and IGI certifications and enjoys teaching students about the aviation industry.

Fundraising Specialist

Allyson Simpson

Allyson Simpson serves as the board's Fundraising Chair. GAA's mission would not be possible without the support of our generous donors. Allyson works each day to bring the mission of GAA to these donors and partners in order to carry on our mission.

Kevin is the OPS Lead: FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam), AFS-850 General Aviation and Commercial Division, AFS-800 Federal Aviation Administration

Wyatt Bowles leads the GAA's Communications team and directs the news section of GAA's website. He is a private pilot and holds an instrument rating, as well as the AGI and IGI certifications. Wyatt also has an influential role in the UAS sector of the aviation industry.
