The Road to National Recognition

The selection process is a rigorous, three-tier climb to the top:

District: FAA Flight Standards District Offices (FSDO) select local honorees.

Finalists: FAASTeam Program Managers narrow the field to top-tier finalists.

National: Volunteer Industry Judges review the finalists and chose one National Honoree per category.
The Ultimate Reward

Trip to AirVenture: Each Honoree receives $2,500 to pay for travel expenses to the annual EAA AirVenture airshow. The trip includes the Honoree and one guest.
